The transition into adoptive parenting can be challenging, and when you add in the complexities of travel, language and safety concerns, adoption travel can be completely overwhelming for many families. Upon placement, many children are not only grieving the loss adoption brings, but may be struggling to communicate their basic needs and/or understand what is happening in their world. Other times, other children in the family may struggle to adjust to all the monumental changes adoption has brought to their lives,. This can be an terrific time to utilize the services of a Parent Coach to help your family survive, and even thrive, during what can be a very challenging time. Parent Coaching is available in-person (South Africa) or via Zoom.
