The Vision

Regardless of your beginning, The Mosaic Project exists for one purpose: holding space for every journey from roots to your truest Self, a journey back to wholeness and authenticity.

The Mosaic Project is a grassroots, family-centered organization dedicated to supporting adoptees and adoptive families, reconnecting loved ones separated by adoption, and providing somatically aware and trauma-informed coaching, resources, and training for parents, social workers, mental health professionals and families.

We believe that our earliest experiences, and the generations that came before us, profoundly shape who we are, influencing how we see ourselves and our place in the world.

Like the art of a mosaic, every person’s story is made up of many unique pieces. When pieces are missing, the picture is incomplete. We view adoption and the right of adoptees to understand and connect with their origins as a fundamental human right—one that allows each person to gather the pieces of their story and see their life’s mosaic in full.
